Questions about allergies, asthma and much more

Answers to questions we hear again and again in connection with our natural herbs

In our many contacts with parents, questions about allergies, asthma, hay fever, etc. keep coming up. Below we provide answers to these topics specifically with regard to our little ones. If you have any further questions, we are always available at info@loewenkind.net.

Allergy: Allergies are usually caused by a disturbed immune system. In small children, the immune system is usually not yet disturbed; if it is, then this irritation is probably caused by a (multiple) vaccination. If, in exceptional cases, an allergic reaction to a herbal pad occurs, this can usually be resolved relatively quickly by removing the pad. In an emergency, a doctor should of course be consulted!

Asthma: If it is allergic asthma, then

Premature babies: Since the lungs of premature babies are not properly developed and the necessary development can take many months (varies from case to case), you should avoid using our pads beforehand and discuss this with your pediatrician as a precaution. Once the lungs are fully developed, there is nothing to speak against or everything to speak in favor of using our pads.

What happens if someone with hay fever lies next to a child who has a herbal pad in their bodysuit? Since people are much less allergic to dried herbs than to fresh ones, no adverse effects are to be expected. We are not aware of any cases to date. In exceptional cases, of course, avoid contact.

What about neurodermatitis? The herbs do not come into direct contact with the skin and there is no risk of the finest herbal particles being transferred, as the herbs are separated from the skin by both the fleece of the pad and the protective cotton fabric of the body. Consequently, there is no risk here. In rare exceptional cases, of course, do not use it.
